Default wow, everyone said they sit low... and they were right

so i picked up some supra seats from user "twin lex", and i put the drivers side in this morning and boy does it sit extremely low, i hate it, i can barely see over the steering wheel. so ive decided to try and make the seats fit on the stock power seat rails, i know this kindof defeats the purpose of getting supra seats to save weight but at least they look a little cooler than the stock ones. I'm going to start working on this now and ill let everyone know how it goes

You must be a short man...

I have mine on the lowest setting... it's not low enough! The lower the better I say.

im 5'9 as well, maybe i dont have the correct brackets or something because my face is not much higher up than the steering wheel, maybe its just that im not used to sitting that low, but i hate it, it feels like i'm almost sitting on the floor of the car

I'm 5'10 and I see over the steering wheel fine. You're probably just not used to it. Did you try reclining the seats up?

how do i recline the seats up? its just weird cause i feel like im practically sitting on the floor, and im not having great luck figuring outhow to put the supra seats on the stock seat rails. I really hope i can make these work cause otherwise i will have to sell them and have wasted a two hour drive to pick em up

wow, even better...less weight. i think what chanh55 was meaning was not to recline the seat back so far, sitting more upright.

I love the seat height of the Supra seats. At 6'3", my hair would make contact with the headliner if I was a few weeks out of a hair cut on the stock seats.

I have mine on the lowest setting. It feels so cool to be driving with your *** no more than a foot off the ground. I see eye-to-eye with the Vette drivers now.

Bobby...you could perhaps work on just shimming the stock Supra bracket. I would PM Scotturnot. I believe he shimmed his leather racing seats so that he could see over the steering wheel.
