It just seems like a lot of miles per tank. It was all highway but it was driving at 80 mph and some times over 100. It is a 5 spd car if it matters.

I was going to say that mileage like that is only normal if you drive at high speeds for prolonged periods of time and then I read your full post...

Thank god you're in Il. I definitely would not want you around my highways and city streets.

Thats Pretty good. I have a 92, SC400 here and mixed city/highway if i drove till an empty tank i would probably get somewhere 440ish maybe 450ish. I would love to try and drive all on the highway though at a constant 65, just to see what kind of mileage i would get. I think I could break the 500mile barrier .

Not like I was street racing but the flow of traffic is 90ish apparently you have never driven in chicago.

On my trip from DFW to San Antonio i got 430 to a tank with the a/c on the entire way. I also have a 5 speed car.........might be for sale soon.....hehehe (got a new toy)

Wow I don't feel so bad about my gas mileage anymore. I get anywhere from 175 to 180 to a half tank. And I thought my MPG just sucked.

Hmmm... Last time I drove the 94 to the Westin, on North Michigan, from O'hare airport, the traffic was not even close to an average speed of 90.

Come on. Seriously. Street racing or not, that's still deathly fast.
