Both Doors Won't Open From The Outside... F'ed?
What are the chances. Both door actuator rods broke at the same time. My driver side broke on Wednesday and the passenger side broke about 20 minutes ago. Luckily AAA had a tool that goes under the window to the inside of the car to open the door handle.
I've been using the passenger side to open the driver side. But now what am I supposed to do...
Am I totally f'ed and have to leave the windows open until I replace the actuator? Anyone know how to open the doors from the inside without breaking the windows? I don't want to park my car over night with the windows cracked open. The Driver side actuator has been ordered the day it broke and should be here Tuesday...

It is no different from the other 300 "my door is broke" threads. We have not evolved past the physical inabilities of man to penetrate hard objects and reach through glass and metal since the last thread so the answer is the same. Cut the door panel. Sorry dude. Still the same..

you could buy one of those AAA things yourself.
i would just close both doors n windows and when you get your parts buy yourself a 6 pack of your favorite brew and requisition yourself a coat hanger.
insert hooked coat hanger into window apparatus, taking breaks to enjoy your beverage of choice, and repeat.
if you run out of booz, get some more and start from the top.
once you learn the angle its really not that hard. have had to do it on just about every car ive owned. just make sure you have something on you that shows its your car, like insurance or something.
