Default How do you guys handle somthing like this?

Hello, i have been a memeber here for a little while and spend most of my time in the GS section, recently i have been playing with a SC and having a good time with it

I put it for sale in the classifieds only to have some one post why i would downgrade to a 2.5 and keep it auto. Im hip to why i did it but what is up with that. Aslo i noticed this car is attracted to the younger crowd vs.my other cars a GS and LS.

One part of me wants to smack a guy like this and the better part of me will more than likely brush it off but i figured i would drop in and and intruduce my self to the SC crowd and see what your guys take on it is.-Robert

Easy one here ROPADOPA. Hurley don't have a clue. No offense Hurley. A 2.5L is not a downgrade by any means. I don't see what the auto vs. manual has to do with anything other than personal preference.

Maybe you mis-interpreted his post. Maybe he meant that if you're going to go through the trouble of swapping a twin turbo in, you should just make it stick right away. He didn't really say it was a downgrade, just that if you're putting in the 1jz, you should swap the tranny also. Who knows.

Don't sweat it. He'll see the error in his ways 1jz far superior to stock.

Well first off, you can PM a mod with problems.
Second you can title a thread so we know what your talking about.

Edit your for sale thread, then post an answer to his question...Stupid as it may be...answering it...Bumps the thread up.....ya reading me Major Tom????
