hello and welcome. I'm placing this question in the Official Wheel & Tire fitment thread. To answer your questions, that should fit and it will poke out at stock height. Those are good sizings if you ever lower the car. Once lowered, you will need to roll your fenders.

There are some 19x8 MT7 Ventoso with Pirelli Cinturato P7 235/40/19's locally available
Pics show them new, mounted and balanced, never used
Edit: he gave the the offset - 55mm (?) won't they be set in somewhat?

I think they would be gorgeous on my white 93 SC400
So I bit the bullet and went to try these out - I'm quite amazed they fit so I couldn't help myself
I can only guess that maybe he didn't really know what the offset was
These may not set out quite like many others on here, but to me they're beautiful!

Before, with some 16" aftermarkets that I never really liked but bought for lack of better choices at the time

After, with the 19" Monte Titano's

And an acceptable profile

Hey guys I'm in the process of shopping for wheels for my sc400. I found some wheels that I like Imy looking at 18x9.5+34 up front and 18x10.5+22 in the rear and was wondering what would be the best tore size choice for this set up. I know I will have to roll/pull the rear fenders flat to fit but I'm not sure on what would be the best tire size

It really depends on your ride height, but a 245/40/18 in the front and a 265/35/18 in the rear should be good. There is no reason to pull the rear. Rolling the rears flat or shaving will be enough if you have the right suspension setup.

awesome thank you for the info. It helps alot. As of right now the ride hight is stock but once I purchase coilovers I plan on lowering it slightly but not much the road here kinda suck so I don't want to go to low

It's discussed in this thread somewhere in the first half, but people never ask anymore. Plus, it's assumed a legit tire shop won't sell you the wrong type of tire because of liability issues.

Our cars have a 96 load index from the factory, so you should match that or go higher. The load index determines how much weight each tire can carry.

That's only true for 19" tires. If you were to go 18" tires, then you would be able to find a 35 series in the load range. There are a lot of things that are done in this thread that aren't considered safe by most people's standards, but it is still done.

As long as you don't exceed the Load rating of the tire you buy, then you'll be fine. You can google what each load rating correlates to in pounds, then do the math. From the tire shop's perspective, its a liability issue to sell you the wrong tire. If you don't agree with that choice, then go somewhere else that will sell you the tire that you want.

Default advice!

Alright all you wheel ballers i need some help. been going back and forth on some wheels and i finally nailed down the weds sport sa10r. i am lowered on coilovers however i want to run very little to no camber, not looking for hella flush or massive poke, i want a fairly aggressive setup and wide tire, my car is putting down some good numbers and i need all the traction i can get. so with that being said... will i be poking massively with 18x10.5 +25 REAR and 18x9.5 + 45 FRONT. like i said i would like the wheels to sit out to the fender but not poking, i won't be slammed down to the ground as i want suspension travel so the car can be driven fairly hard on the road course. my car is on MKIV wheels now and i really would like to upgrade over the 9.5's rears and 8's i have.
the calculators i have used show my rears sitting 37mm further than my mkiv wheels and i feel like the 10.5+25 will be pushing it for me..
thanks for the help!

Hey guys I'm currently running a 20x10 +25 245/30/20 & 20x11 +28 275/30/20 setup.

Looking to do a 20x10.5 square setup with +31F +22R offsets to keep everything the same as far as outer clearance.

Would I be better running a 245/35/20 or 255/30/20 all around with the 10.5"? I'm on coilovers as well as have complete camber adjustability with aftermarket arms front and rear.

I'm aware that either size I choose I'm most likely going to have to readjust my height so it won't look funny.

Those wheels will poke in the rear. You'll be able to run a wide 265 or a narrow 275 in the rear with around -1.6 to -2 degrees of camber (if you have oem suspension arms, then you won't be able to get closer to 0). Your fenders will have to be shaved or rolled completely flat in the rear.

It'll look just like this:

Your fronts will be sunken in. I believe wedsport makes that wheel in a 30's offset too, so I would recommend those instead.
