Super post complete; people please read post #4555 for help with wheel/tire selection, or if you're already set just read it to learn something

Also for offset examples for our cars, see post #4444.

RAINE!
I saw those two posts before lol. But none of those help me with the thickest tire i can run in the rear I didn't know those were your posts until you posted em just now -__-

Im contemplating on pulling the trigger on some 265/40/18 hankook v12 on my rear 18x10.5 +20. I was wondering if this will fit on my car. The rear right now has 255/35/18 (ride height as pictured https://www.clublexus.com/forums/7650502-post4560.html). Thank you =D

Also, I got my car 5 months ago w/ 70K miles =D so its still fairly brand new!

18x8.5 all around with +28 0ffset
Coilovers on the way
can't figure out what tire size to use without fender modification if possible.
Thanks in advance

Oh boy...

18x8.5 +28 you'll need a roll just to cover the offset alone minus the tire size. Then it depends on how low you're going, which you can't even know because you don't even have your coilovers yet. As for tire sizing, did you even look through this thread for suggestions? Or you just want someone to tell you what size and you'll buy it? LMK.
Thanks in advance

A few posts back there's a pic with 18x9.5 +15. It's not +18 but when visualizing it 3mm is barely noticeable.

I have looked thru this thread for awhile, I've been throwing around the idea of new rims with a better offset or use the ones I have. After posting I desided I would just get my coil overs and go from there, I've just seen so many people post basically what I did and got an answer so I thought I'd try. Thanks for your reply, I think I'll put the coilovers and rims on and measure every thing up and then get tires or rims and tires

Ok cool... Yeah your best course is to get the coilovers in the car before you do any wheel selection because it'll make it much easier to pick a fitment once you have your ride height and know what clearances you'll be working with

Exactly, I only plan to have her sit to where the top of the tires are level with the fender, not crazy low but pretty low from stock ride height. That also depends on how close that brings the exhaust to the ground, don't want to ruin that I just had it done lol.
