Default DIY Weekend - dash removal, painted the woodgrain, modded shifter lights, 56k nono
DIY Weekend...

My interior has been part black, part tan, and part that ugly brown color for a while... I decided it was time to pull the dash, paint it with SEM vinyl color, and get rid of the ugly wood grain in exchange for something a little more up to date... So, here's dash instructions, how to modify the shifter lights and more...

Oh, I also cleaned every single thing in the car - no more dust behind anything, and none of that gross stuff that gets in the cracks either anymore...



Removal of shifter shroud, painting it, and modifying PRND21 lights... Now, instead of PRND12 lighting up all the time,and the selector moving, now only lighting up the gear it's in, like the dash does.

here's the results:

no pics here, but I also did some custom gauges, UV bulbs behind for backlighting (had to wire in extras to fill in the dim spots), and also custom needles...

sorry the floor is still a mess... I need to vacuum still... but you guys get the idea...

just posted them... its kinda hard to tell cause it's so bright out, but you get the idea...
