Hey guys I had this same problem. I was able to partially remove the door panel with the door shut!! It was kind of a pain in the *** because you need to remove both the drive and passenger seat to give yourself room to work. Once you have the seats out you can stick a screw driver in between the bottom of the door panel and the scuff plate to reach the 3 bottom screws of the door panel. also unscrew the screw behind the inside door handle and the 2 screws under the arm rest. the only screws you can't reach are the 2 by the hinges, but you will be able to move the panel out of the way enough to stick your had into the door and reach the lock assembly. It takes some force to get the door panel loose and you might break something if your not careful but it's better than cutting up the panel. I was able to do this with no damage to the door panel so it is possible!!! Good luck and if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them.

Cool If you were only a little more patient

Hey, my door got completely stuck 2 days ago at first only the outside door handle wouldn't open but i could open it up from the inside then I thought that I had fixed it and the damn thing got worse I couldn't open it up from either side it was stuck closed. So in the end it took me about 30 minutes and a close hanger to open it up and I didn't have to cut the beautiful black leather either. You just have to hit the pressure switch in that plastic housing that the metal rod goes into and pull the inside door handle when it's depressed, then it will pop right open.

you need to replace the door acutuator, i have it, 85 shipped.

to open it you need to get your hand in there and push the rod down, the rod that goes from the outside handle.
