Default Power window grabs the rubber

I had my windows tinted on my sc300 and now the driver side window grabs the rubber and will only go down 4-5inches before it finally hangs.....

A buddy and I tried lubing it a little. it worked for a few times...the window would go down and back up no problem but it dried up again and does the same thing.

Im thinking of trying a little vaseline on the rubber and wiping my window everytime it gets on it....Any other good idea's?

My windows skim the window seal (so it seams) and makes an annoying noise (sometimes... usually more apparent during the colder months) but it never seizes.

Mine did the same thing. Just spray a little WD-40 and you'll be good to go.

as the window goes down the rubber seal will start going in and finally hold the window to where it wont go down anymore. You can press it down all the way with some push .

To go up its fine because the rubber then goes back up and releases it grips on the window.

Whatever they use to put tint on dried that rubber up. The window should just glide down and the rubber shouldnt move but since it is so dry the window grabs it and pulls it down.

My passenger window does make a sound when it goes back up sometimes but im not worried about it because it works just fine.

I will try the wd40. it wont hurt the tint will it?

WD-40 shouldn't hurt the tint. Try to contain t he spray to just the rubber area though...
