ECU Check Harness
My mechanic gave me his 1994 sc4 manuals and it refers to a specialty tool, used in checking the ECU, called a check harness. Do you guys know where I can pick one up(other than the dealership) and how much it would cost approximately? If not, how do you run diagnostic checks on the ecu wires? It says in the manual the you should not probe the ECU harness because it could cause damage.

Thanks for the reply bro. This specific check harness i'm speaking of is a lexus specialty tool. It splits the wires coming out of the ecu into two harnesses. One to connect with the car's harness; and the other to run diagnostic checks on the wires connecting with the ecu. I'm probably not doing to best job of explaining it.
I think you're referring to the use of a paper clip on the data link connectors. But, still... thanks for putting it out there.
