aftermarket seats for sc300/400
are there any aftermarket seats that fit our car well/retain the stock look/feel yet are a good amount lighter? i dont want to replace them with a sparco or recaro...
i was thinking S2000 seats, but wonder howmuch they weigh compared to ours? ours is around 50-70 lbs a seat? i know they come in black i think i've seen them in red. not sure if they have tan?
of if anyone else knows of other seats that matches/fits please post up

you could get mkiv supra seats or s2k seats as you stated. Although from wat i've seen if you're really looking to save weight they arent THAT much lighter. If you are really looking to save weight your best bet would to go with a more racing inspired seat like Status/Recaro/Sparco/Corbeau. However if you are just looking to get a sportier look/feel while still retaining the comfort factor, the s2k or supra seats would be your best bet.
So all in all you have to figure out wats more important, weight saving or comfort. Honestly though from my experience certain aftermarket ones arent that uncomfortable at all (depending on your weight/waist size/height). Make sure before you buy your seats you take a test sit.

i'd probably stay with the stock seats actually. i would like more of a weight savings but woudlnt' want to get into the "race" seats... the lexus is too nice of car to hack up. i know all too well from my first car (surpa).
i'll make up for the weight difference by making more power

they are not a direct bolt in like they are said to have been and you will have to use some washers or something
but they are still pretty classy and are a lot lighter and scoop ur bum better lol

You can also use Celica gts seats they look also look good and take about as little work to make them fit as the S2000 seats. And it's a toyota seat
Here they are fitted in a Supra.

s2000 seats would be the best i think. i have tan interior and didn't really want to put black seats in or red. do they come in tan?
so just pretty much fab a complete new bracket or can you modify the stock one to fit the SC?
