Default Deal or No Deal on 96 SC300 5speed???

I am a soon to be lexus owner and need some help. Well I am looking at a black on black 1996 Sc300 manuel with 196k. the seller is the original owner and he was askin 9k but I talked him down to 7K. Do you guys think this is to much or is it a good deal. How much is the car worth? The car is in great condition inside and out, very well kept and maintianed.

sounds like an okay deal. the 200k mileage scares me a little... but they are built to last.

9k is grossly overpriced. 7k is still a bit high according to Kelley BB, where 6500 is the high for Excellent condition. The manual adds a premium, but only to those in the know.

Without seeing the car, I couldn't say to go any higher than 5k.

The black interior and the 5spd add a premium. Personally I would pick it up in a second b/c of the black/black and the 5spd and then pretend I didnt see the miles and throw in a 1jz.

Nay, I say move on, trust me there's plenty of SC's out there that are reasonably priced with decent mileage. That's if you have the patience.

My .02 advice.
