My 2nd H3 bulb came in today (must remember that only 1 comes in a package, hehe ). I ordered the PIAA H3 ion crystal. Installation was pretty easy, jack up the car, remove bottom panel (6 or 7 screws, 10mm), remove 2 nuts and 1 screw attaching fog light to the car (8mm). the left side (driver seat perspective) fog light was harder because of hoses, but now its a quick 10-15 minute job per fog light.

they look really nice and have different colors on the lense depending on what angle you look at it from. the end result is still yellow. they aren't GS/IS fog light yellow, but they are the deepest yellow that i've seen on just a bulb replacement so far. More of the road seems to show. I'll take a few more pics tommorow night on the driveway with my camcorder (i can prtscn pics, but comp crashes when trying to record to my hd).

so are they significantly more yellow than stock? mine was barely more yellow...only slightly. i wish we could get the gs/is yellow...

Is it true that the 92 sc400 did not have fog lights but instead had turn signal lights? My bulbs were burnt when i got my car, but my friend told me that on his sc300 it only lights when he makes a turn signal.

Can someone shed some light on this subject??

it's true, the 92-94 SC did not fog lights but turning signals. check out this thread, should answer every question you have about them.
