Legends6spd

I testdrove a SC300 5spd today. It seemed like shifting was very hard to do. The shifter just doesn't want to glide in to gear. For example, on a Legend 6spd, it was buttery smooth, it simply glides in wherever you want to shift, but the SC was so hard! I have to THINK and 'guide' each throw into gear, as if it doesn't want to find its own path.
Any thoughts on this? Am I the only one ?

Also, how's the clutch engagement compared to rest of the cars out there?
I know the BMW didn't 'engage' till you have to release the clutch pretty high. Advice? Thanks.

that gearbox was prolly either messed up or seriously needed some new tranny oil

my 5-speed is the smoothest 5-speed i've ever used...

and they don't make 6-speed legends... Honda only has 2(maybe 3) different 6-speeds available... and only one is FWD... it could possibly be mated to a V6 engine but i doubt it... i doubt the type-R 6-seed would work... length of the engine is different, etc
and i know the NSX/S2000 6-speeds won't work

they sure do make 6spd legends. check out my screen name.
'93-'95 Legend Coupes have 6speed gearbox (from the nsx).
'94-'95 Legend GS sedans have 6speeds as well.

Not many people knew but it is true... They are all rare finds.
BTW, they are mated to the 230hp TYPE II V6 engine.

thats right, the NSX is midengine so its also a transversal tranny... yup i guess that would work
