Unhappy And now I am sad

I bought my sc300 a week ago and loved it. You may have seen me on here posting about lip kits and such already. So i tried to go get it registered and the dmv has it showing a Non rebuildable title so i thought maybe they messed up with the vin so i sat at the dmv again and they told me the same thing and i spoke with a manager and even called the main office and still nothing so i had no choice but to take it back to the previous owner . The CARFAX on the car reads perfectly clean and the previous owner is able to register the car in the state he lives so its ok for him but for some reason switching states brings up this screwed up title and the car runs and drives fine, probably even the best/smoothest ride i have ever had and i have had a lot of cars. Well thats all just a sad day but i am lucky that i delt with such a good seller that was very helpful in getting everything resolved and giving me my money back. Now find me a new SC! haha...

That's gotta hurt... plus that's weird that it can't be registered from one state to another?

it passed saftey and emissions with ease.. i have no idea why cause the car is fine.. Ive test drove a few salvaged vehicles and you can definatly tell why they are salvaged but this one didnt even seemed to be salvaged..

sounds like a title error made by the dmv, and they're not willing to admit it. well, best of luck to you finding another SC!

Couldn't it just go through an inspection? Mistakes happen and it shouldn't keep someone from keeping a perfectly good car.
