How many people have non working factory keyless entry?

what is the right size battery to fit in the key? that way i can try it ...i dont think ive ever tried it with a new battery. it would be nice to have it work though, since my viper system remote just crapped out on me

+1 for not working.. when i baught mine 2 months ago it worked but i had to be really close to the vehicle, now it doesnt work at all. i changed the battery but to no avail. wonder what happend?

Mine is not working at all even with a new battery...but I haven't tried the radio thing..didn't know about that..what kind of reaction are you supposed to get with the radio..?

yep, your transmitter is fine. (which is more than I can say for me at this point, i can't get a tone.)
now,... here's the "quick directions"
remove the rear seat, right quarter insert (behind passenger side)
you'll see the box for the keyless, pull the grey antenna wire out. stick the end of the key in the hole but do not let it touch the inside of the antenna barrel. Press the key button.
Doors lock? (remember they have to be closed)
