Sunroof Wont Slide Open!
I need some help. I was wondering if anyone had a fix for this. My Sunroof will not slide back anymore. It only tilts. When I push the tilt button the sunroof motor starts to grind. Just like the tilting steering wheel. I wonder if I can fix it the same way I fixed the steering wheel tilt problem just like in CIP's DIY thread. I'll open up the motor and take a look but in the mean time I would like someone who has fixed this before to chime in with a solution. Thanks!

Yeah. I'd take it to the dealer but Im pretty sure its something I can fix myself. Plus its getting kind of hot over here in California and my AC is empty.

roFLz LMAO i have the same problem ^5 buddy on my 2nd gen GS welcome tot the club i just teared down the whold headliner n everything around the roof took off the glass and just about to go out and figgure out how to get to the inside of the housin but i can't figgure it out~! but i do know all parts are replaceable, i also have a supra moonroof i could use as a spare if it was busted cables or somthing by lookin at the roof its pretty straight forward on how it works motor and two cable masks one for each side but i have one cable stuck and its grindin out my motor 
if u come up with any info helpm e out~! imma get back to work on it nows if i figgure somthing out i'd let u know dude ~!
