A good paint job, w/ jambs, will run you somewhere in the $3000 range. But, I wouldnt change the color for anything. I think its great.

I think I would just change the color of the emblems, i.e chrome, gray, or black. Then paint that old woodgrain. (thats what I did).

For what it would cost to paint the car, you could gets some super bad wheels.

Why would you want to a re-paint that SC and why a different color? My first SC I ever owned was that exact same factory color...I think it is nice and rare color for an SC and with tint and a nice set of wheels it will look super.......First off when you change paint colors be aware that the first scratch, under hood and edge trim parts may show your original grey paint...In my opinion when re-painting a car you should always keep the same color if you plan too keep the car for a while...

As far as getting a dealer quality paint job with no body work included, color sanding, no orange peal, 1 year warranty, etc....I could refer to a paint shop in East Los Angeles, California but I don't think that will be of any help to you... Cost me $1000 on my current SC and looks like new after a year........
