I love Gran Turismo 4. Really fun if you have the wheel to go along with it. My soarer in the game has 500+ HP.... now if I can get my car to have that...

Ohhh thats clean. I havent gotten a chance to play that game yet. Its on my "to do" list.

The soarer really dosent shine in that game. Its a good drifter, but the 1st gen GS300 gets 700+hp fully tunned where as the sc300 only gets 500-600ish.

Oooh, I love GT4 on PS2. Amazing game. So far, the best track I have found for the black SC300 with 470HP is the Deep Forest track. I can turn a 2:20 lap with the steering wheel there. Pisses off my friend who drives an Audi and can't touch it with his "fine German". It's only good in the high speed turning tracks though. The game is useless without the steering wheel though. Get the GT4 wheel, put it in "windshield" view with the gauges and it's game on.

That Toyota 2000GT is alot of fun too as is the Lancia Stratos and the Toyota Rally car. Drifting the rally cars in the dirt is a game in itself.

Just wait until you get to the one with the Peugeot rally car in Paris. It's impossible. I keep finishing in 2nd place like 1 second behind the leader. Just can't beat it. I beat all others up until that point. The 2000GT one was really tough for me too. They get easier after that one. Is the traction control of the 2000GT killing you? I hated that. I wish you could turn off the traction control in the driving missions. I never ever use traction control.

it's prob a combination of traction, asm and all that crap.
it forced you to drive "ideal" when i never do that. . .
make nice circle turns, pffft...hah

i think it's the turn after the straight that hurt me most, i can't go in and power out(yes, it's all traction in that case ) forces me to come to a dead stop before i can go again.

Pretty sweet looking... This game looks like it blows away GT3... I can't beleive they have SC's in there... How about the Aristo GS...

The extra cool part about the SC's is that even though they are labeled Lexus SC300 they have 1JZ engines. The GS300 in the game has 2JZGTE too. You really should check the game out. I play no other video games at all. I even went all out and got the steering wheel and the gameracer thing to mount it and the pedals on.
