Default Dyeing Tan Pieces Black

I used some Kelly's Cobbler black dye, to change a tan/brown A pillar to black. The conversion came out awesome. I suggest using this product on items that do not get sat on.

Will post pics later.

aliga...do you think it would work well on my steering wheel? The steering wheel in my car has turned to an almost burnt sienna color because all of the color has been rubbed off. It's starting to look really ugly and was contemplating buying an IS wheel, but if this works on the wheel, i may just dye it?

mine isn't finished yet since i'm lazy. Still need to install the cluster cover and a few other items. This is just how mine looks with all the brown turned into black and with a black carpet.armrest. Looks shiney only because of the armor all.

Detuned, did you use this same product that aliga used? I wonder how well it will hold on the seats. I really like that look, my leather could use a nice black dye, i like the two tone now with parts in tan. Looks good How much of this stuff did you buy to do that? 4 oz, 32 oz?

I would assume that to dye the seats, removing them would be easiest, although I guess not removing them would be OK too, you just would not be able to die the bottom part of the seat as easily, and the very bottom would not be possible, but who's looking all the way down there?

For the dash, and console cover, It shouldnt be necessary to remove anything.
