moderators pls dont move this thread as it pertains to all sc members' opinions on these wheels.

what do you guys think of the amg wheels on our sc? this is a monoblock iv wheels that can be easily adapted to lexus bolt pattern.

just need yr feedback.....that's all.!! i personally think it wud look good on 19's and maybe with a body kit.

I have seen quite a few SC's with mono-block style wheels before. It really depends on how the rest of the car is styled. For example: The Wald SC has a mono-block style wheel, and it looks great, but! its slammed with aggressive widths and offsets. I think that a conservative wheel fittment with a mono-block looks "weak" on the SC (trust me- I see it on yahoojapan auctions all the time.)

That said- why adapt a true AMG wheel- why not get a wheel that you can order custom offsets and widths with that look- such as some of the Amistad Wheels, Work Wheels, Wald Wheels, etc.

Those look like the monoblocks that are on this guy's SC.
I don't know why I like this car so much. Maybe it's the pictures, or maybe the SC400 lip does do it all?

as for that walds sc with the "monoblock" wheels. it could look a lot better with some other type of wheels.

i say stay away from them.

but if you do get them make sure you keep that benz emblem on so i can make fun of you and say your car's going through an identity crisis!

Only on German cars? I think that they are probably the best looking wheel for a VIP car- a big flat faced mono-block wheel with an agressive offset and a nice big lip is hard to beat. Now they are difficult to pull off on the SC- but Wald did do it well.

the reason i asked wz cuz my old 96 gs300 had the same wheels on there....on 19's......
and i got good props on them.....

i dont know...i guess im moving towards to that vip look........yet, i dont wanna spend big bucks on these wheels as well.

i guess ill just suprise you all!!!

i personally think if i paint my car black, the monoblock style wheels wud look ok.....
i wudn't have that much lip though like my wheels rt now.....
