Ha, $127 for a set of 3x1 inch clear lights? That's almost as bad as the $5000 LED sc300/400 tail lights. I'll pass. They look clean, but they don't look $127 clean.

I'm with you tho. I made my own LED side markers with gunmetal lens for under $25 for both. And as for the tails, you're preaching to the choir. LEDs tails are VERY easy and charging $2k for them is rediculous. I made my '97+ LED tails with $20 in parts. Pfft.

My clear corners were done by a seller on ebay... he took several months to retrun the dang things and they came back looking on the scale of god awful. Not only was it obvious he used light covering, but it was glued in with this grey epoxy... it was obvious. Also, the light was slightly yellowed, it didnt match the headlights that well.

And to boot, one of the lenses fell off last week!

I have just ordered some OEM corners off of tarakaira.com and will have them installed at my next oil change.

Pretty much done as the important stuff is done. I'll casually look into LED rear turn signals but I'm not too interested in these. LED rear parking lights won't work too well because of the passive reflector blocking the nice LED output. I tried that one already. LED reverse lights is just retarded. Up front the turn signal is the same as the rear, just not necessary. The city light is 194 wedge led and that's it, I'm outta lights.

If anything occurs to me I'll post it in my LED retro thread. Those front 194 wedge LED parking lights may get upgraded to custom ones... If I get bored enough one day.

After your tail lights modification, didn' t you get the "tail light bulb burn out warning light" on in the dash due to the current change?
