Question EXHAUST TIPS

Have any of you guys/gals modified your exhaust system with aftermarket exhaust tips? If so, can you post a pic? I interested in what the general Lexus SC community taste is in exhaust tips

What do you think is a well manufactured tip..let's say 2.5" to 3" that looks really aggressive but not Street Fight-type?

Thanks for your input in advance.

I wouldn't go with aftermarket tips if I were you. Go with the standard tips because the aftermarket ones look too large for the muffler. Just my opinion.

I think hoops is referring to the 4 - 5 1/2 tips that are a bit on the wild side.

I have the round 3 1/2" Brosal stainless steel tips on my SC4. They look very nice, but aggressive not rice. I had them set that the tips are only 1/2" longer out the back than the stock ones.(side view) Most people think they are stock tips.

With the thicker rolled lip on the tips it is visible easier from the rear and honestly look nicer IMO. The stock tips aren't as deep in luster than most after market tips. Plus, they are really slip over type tips.

If anyone needs the stock tips let me know. I'll give them to you free!

I'm not sure, but it looks like our SC300 tips are larger diameter than our 99 GS400 exhaust tips.

MyLexusSC3, if you want them, they're yours.. Just send me an email at TheIkon1911@yahoo.com or leave me a private message on CL discussing the shipping. If you don't send me a conformation soon, I'll give them to whom ever's asked next...

They are in great shape, no scraps, dings, etc... Just need a little polish. (I have not used them in a year or so.)

Enjoy,

The Ikon
