how many wires are sticking out of the stock turn signal bulbs? im confused....

you got 1157 socket from autozone and from the pics, it looked like it came with two black wires....? then you sodered another extra wire on the side of the socket, right?
where do those two black wires go too coming from the socket? and the extra wire is for ground, that i got it right.

so after this, you will have extra socket and a bulb for left and right turn signals?

I don't understand why the fast blinker would occur. If you have a complete 95-96 wiring harness wouldn't that just directly plug into the socket?
I have a pair of 95-96 tails sitting around with the wiring harness, I figured all you have to do is plug it in and you're all set.

The '94 on flasher relay is totally different to the 91-93 one. I had the same problem and did not really want to have bulbs lying around, so with a bit of trial and error I changed the capacitor in the flasher relay, job done

A write up on this with details would help a LOT of people out on this board.

I could already see it available at LLS. 97+ Conversion Flasher Relays for your 92-94 SC.

Specifically which capacitor do you change and with what farad rating?

Well if OLT does the capacitor it'd be excellent.
OLT is the person to go to for electronics. I'm sure he could figure this out in a jiffy and market it within a week.

I'll try to wire in another maybe 194 bulb just to see, maybe 1157 was not enough
Vred: The flasher is expecting 3 1156's. 1156 bulbs are 27 watts. 27*3 = 81 total watts per side.

You wired in an 1157 which is a dual filament (27w + 8w) in parallel to the 1156 in the tail light. So that's 27w+8w+27w = 62 watts.

62 watts is not enough of a power drop for the flasher to think a bulb is out (which would be 54 watts) but not enough to make it happy running it's designed power level of 81 watts.

This would explain why it's not hyperblinking, but also not blinking the way it should be. What you need is 2 1156 bulbs per side. This is how I have mine and this is exactly what the 92-94 car is expecting. If you wire in a 194 bulb to your current setup, you only add 5 watts. 62+5 = 67watts which is still short of your 81 watt target.

2 1156's will get you there.

As for the capacitor mod and OLT. He has nothing to do with it at the moment, and he possibly won't at all. He's a busy guy and researching, developing, collecting cores and marketing a product he needs to warranty and back will NOT take a week. If he does take it up (we hope lol) it's great for all of us and we should patiently wait for it. If he doesn't, we should understand he already runs an entire business that caters to many different things and people. We can't chain him to our every whim.

So in the mean time, wiring in two more bulbs is very simple and it works 100% because that's what the car was designed for.

Good luck!
