Agreed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The most frequent question I get asked by strangers about my ride. The most frequent statement is, "You're kidding me!! It looks brand new!!"

By a stranger I'd say no. On the forums yes.

From my observations (these are on the CL forums)...

What are the most common problems with the SC I should look out for?
Should I get a SC300 or SC400? What is the difference between the SC400 and SC300?
What year SC is the best one to buy?
What are the model year revisions for the SC?
What should I pay for a SC / what is my SC worth?
Can I add HID headlights?
How can I fix my broken gauges?
What Wheel Sizing, offset, tire size, etc will work?
What are my simple choices to upgrade my sound system?
What performance modifications can I make?
What suspension improvements can I make?
How can I update my SC to look like the 97+ model?
Can I add forced induction to my SC?
What tint should I put on my SC?
How can I replace or remove the badges on my SC?

"I've always liked those, too bad Lexus stopped making them. How many miles do you have on yours?"

I do also get asked "what year is that?" about once a week....

Default frequent question

Easy...what year is it?
After they hear then it's the same ol....man, looks like new.
After hearing about the mods they say, man...you're a baller.

I love the comments and questions. I don't mod the car for it to be ignored.

BTW, what's a baller?

About the year thing.

One day as I was leaving work walking in the parking lot, I saw a guy walk by my car, give it the once over, then turn around and look on the windshield at my registration tag.

He was surprised when I ran up on him.....

I asked if he needed help, he answered "Oh, I was just trying to see what year it was".

I usually get the blank look on people's faces and they proceed to ask..."What kinda car is that?"

I remember when the most commonly asked question was 'What in the heck is supposed to go in that hole next to the stereo????"

Not so much a question but the most I have heard is:

"OMG I had one of those in 92! Best car I have ever owned. Better than any of the 12 POS BMW's/Mercedes I've had since then. I regret selling it."

I've actually gotten that line from SEVERAL people. These idiots that buy new cars because they are pretty, not because they are good cars. They all admitted they still buy BMW/MB products for the image however the Lexus was indeed the better car and the best they have ever owned.

Morons. They admit Lexus is better but still buy the inferior image cars.

As for the question I always get: "Is it turbo?"
