Back in the day it was "Is that your car"?

I miss those days

EDIT: I forgot to add: "What year is that" ?

Great Thread

I was at a car wash and this lady in the bay next to the one i was in kept peering over...

Her: Is that your car?

Me: Yes.

Her: What is that ....a Lexus?

Me: Yes.

Her: How old are you?

Me: LOL...older than you think. ( I look young as hell but blow most folks minds)

Her: what do you do for a living?!?!

Me: Have a nice day *smile* and rolled off lol.

I get the "what year is that?" and "what is it?" alot too. They freak when they find out it's an older model car. lol.

The questions I get asked often are:

"What is so special about an SC?"
and..
"What is a Soarer?"

I rarely revive old threads but what is the problem with it?

Searching is always promoted so if you can't post in an old thread why search for it. Then you have people posting new threads that have already been disgussed.

I've actually gotten that line from SEVERAL people. These idiots that buy new cars because they are pretty, not because they are good cars. They all admitted they still buy BMW/MB products for the image however the Lexus was indeed the better car and the best they have ever owned.

Morons. They admit Lexus is better but still buy the inferior image cars.

As for the question I always get: "Is it turbo?"
I'm with you on the older people talking about how they used to have one "back in '92" and loved it.
