Dont mean to be a wuss and ask step by step questions but I dont want to have parts of my car in pieces with no where to go with it. Theres 4 bolts on the current adapter to take off...one to the left...and then it looks like the stock airbox slides into this ovular manifold/pipe...are there any more bolts..or is that it? im gonna go looking for a filter and do this tomorrow i think. thanks for the help.

There's about 8 bolts in all to take off. I can't remember exactly how many, however it's a very wussy job. Any one can do it...

Thumbs up

Nah, just a couple of tools...wrench, socket, screw driver... and about 20 minutes....

Enjoy your new filter.....and add a heat shield...

Cheap mod, for fast hp....

Arrow absolutly

You might also want to do a sort of ram air, like I did today. I also pulled the air dam below the headlight, ran a 6" to 4" galvanized (painted black) air scoop to a aluminum dryer hose, which I routed to the filter.

Awesome increase in power. You gotta do this.
