This poll is very informative. No offense meant to anyone but I do believe the poll numbers explain partly why the SC values have in some way gone down and not a lot of SCs are really being modded for speed.
70% of owners are 27 and below
57% of owners are 24 and below
At those age level , most people are probably not yet stable in their careers and most are students, so funds are limited which is very understandable.
Not a lot will be willing to pay for an SC at a premium price when funds are limited.
Now I get it.

5 speed swap, tein flex coils, bolt ons, tailight reflector delete, p45r wheels(Terrible) still NA for now

1992 SC400 black on grey interior mint 68k miles second owner (let a family member drive and total it)
1999 SC300 white Autotragic ran like a champ w 341k miles
Current: 1995 SC300

bought my second 92 sc400 decemeber of 2014

2 1/2 inch straight pipe with n1 muffler, Gutted, 12v fuel mod, (drift car)
92 Sc400
Bride reps, straight pipe, 12v fuel mod, anti squat wire cut, shimmed accumulators, rear mount turbo install underway.
