did a search and didnt' find anything... taillight problem...
I have a 95 SC and last night, I had one of my 194 bulbs along the top half of the taillight go out. The innermost one on the driver's side. The normal rear lamp out dash light came on. Well, I decied to replace ALL the taillights... all work fine. Turn signals, reverse lamps, and brake lamps. Also, the tail/park lights (three bulbs along the top) all work fine.... Yet the light in my dash refuses to go out... any ideas???

How about the brake light? Do they all light up when you step on the brake? I had a bulb that sometimes worked and sometimes it didn't. It turned out to be the bulb. Also check the sockets for corrosion. A bad socket could cause the idiot light to glow because the connection isn't too good.

I was also wondering if maybe they used 168s instead of the 194s I replaced them with. but see, I replaced ONE with a 194 bulb before with NO proble, so I don't see why it'd matter now

194 bulbs =168 bulbs
Could be a couple of of things if you want to get detailed. The relay could be fried, the grounding in the wiring could be bad, or the bulb connection could be corroded.
