OK, Here is a picture that should explain what I am trying to say. Should the lock Rod take route A to attach to the pink clip or route B? As in, which side of the yellow rod should the pink rod be on?In front of it or behind it?
Peace,
Jonny

Well guys,
For everyone who was sitting and waiting in anticipation for the right answer - here goes!!
The right answer was "B".
So for everyone who was just dying to go out to their car and pull off their drivers door panel - NO NEED!!
JK
Anyway, thank you to everyone who tried to help.
I ended up resolving my problem with the help of 2 friends - Mr DeWalt and Mr. Unibit. Gave me some extra space to get my flashlight and fingers in there to get the rod in!!
So now, not only can I open and close my door without having to climb through the passenger side - I can even lock and unlock it from the drivers side!! These damn Lexus's are just spoiling me!!
Peace guys,
jonny
