The Red/Clear tails were a royal pain. I ended up taking out the diffuser part all together. I like they way it made the red parts of the lights look (they look like jewels at night, and glimmer when you walk by) I used LED bulbs for the actual brake lights.

The head unit install went pretty smoothly. After my estimate at HiFi buys, ($150 dollars to install the deck and put a spray painted piece of MDF as a fill in panel) an installer friend of mine told me that he had just put one in another sc recently and he could do it for me. I ended up payin about 70 bucks for everything plus the cost of the deck. He actually wired one of the RCA pre-outs on the deck to the factory amp, thus eliminating the need to bypass the amp. It sounds great. The dash kit is actually made out of two different mazda kits and a GM pocket. I think it came out very well- and much better looking than the MDF would have.

i took out the diffusers also, but the bad thing about mine are that no one can see if im signalling during the day time......i didn't get LEDs for my signals, i just needed a new bulb so i went to a ricer shop and bought white turn signal bulbs

but at nite, yes they're very bright, both brake and turn lights

I did the same thing. I kind of like em- better than dull white or yellow IMO

Are those blue bulbs in your taillights?

nah they light up bright white with a tiny hint of blue

Very nice. The tails look good . What method did you use for opening up the housings? I have a set of 95-96 tails coming in the mail & plan on clearing them out. Any pointers for me?

*Edit: What type of mufflers are they? They look good, what do they sound like? Sorry, buncha questions

Bake them at 250 for 5 mintues, and seperate the two pieces as much as possible, bake again, seperate. Repeat this process until you can completely pull the two pieces apart (It takes a lot of force, so you should only have to re-bake them a few times)

The mufflers are just universal straight through w/ custom piping. They sound great- much better than i had ever hoped for. The car rumbles at idle and has an almost exotic sound under full throttle.
