Welcome! Beautiful SC you've got there.

Do all the mods from ground up or did you buy it that way?

Nice 97 you have there. Was it a 5 speed manual SC300 or did you convert the slush box to 5/6 speed? Welcome to the forums!

I bought the car bone stock . I have done all the mods. from ground up. So far I have paid around $12.000 for all my mods. including install and tuning. Stuff's hell of expensive!!! Also never-ending, unfortunately.

ha, ha, slush box? funny. No, it is a auto tranny, but funny you ask I just got back from Panama City, Flordia for spring break, it was beyond awesome, but now since I am running a little over 350 at the wheels, my tranny is slipping- bad. I have to get a built tranny and torque converter from kean at boostlogic out of houston now that can handle around 800 hp. I was thinking of getting a 6-speed conversion or 5-speed conversion, but after spending $12,000 on what I have so far not including the price of the car, getting the conversion is looking like it is out of the picture for now, until I get more money.

Very cool. Good to see people getting out there and trying stuff different. How'd you find out about turbo SC's?

A high powered AT turbo SC300 would be pretty cool and different cuz I don't know of anyone running big numbers on an automatic.

Well, I used to own a '95 es300 and always liked the sc300's. So I tried to find a way to get rid of my car and get a sc. Unfortunately, as my luck has it, my friend ended up flipping my es300 in november with me in it! It was then totaled. So, I had the opp. to get a new car, so I got what I wanted which was a sc300. So I got one. My friend worked at toyota at the time and told me about the supra and sc300 similarites. So, that is how I found out about turbo sc's.

Thanks for the compliment. I shoulda read your thread in more detail, i just realized you posted dyno numbers earlier.

I dont really have much done to it, just the basics... JIC FLT-A2 coilovers, JIC exhaust, injen intake, supra TT wheels, supra steering wheel, 97+ sideskirts, 97+ tailights, daizen camber kit, TRD quickshifter, ACT clutch....... In my garage I have sitting supra TT brakes, supra TT sway bars, 97+ front bumper, d.speed clear corners, TRD strut tower bar, a bunch of apexi peak/hold gauges, 19" blitz technospeeds..... i think i have more, but thats just off the top of my head. I recently sold the blitz 03's in my sig which were 18's.

TC, we've got a gallery for ClubLexus where you can upload your Lexus pictures. Just click on the link at the top of the forum.
