I removed my seats to install dynamat a few months ago and removed the seat belts which are tied into the srs system. The code is a 74 or 47. The proceedure to clear code 41 didnt work. Can anyone help ?

Let's please keep this thread about the AIR BAG LIGHT and the air bag light only. Thanks for understanding.

This is the AIR BAG LIGHT. Its just not a code 41. I think it could help folks that have this same issue.

Hi Siniquezu,
Just wanted to thank you. I made your switch out of an old 3-way light switch and it worked on the third try. I had tried maybe 20 times before freehand.

What if your air bag light was accidentally cut by the tire and then reconnected again? How do you clear that light?

I had almost given up. Some tips that worked for me:
1. Put ignition in ACC position with no contact to AB or Tc
2. wait 6 seconds by your watch
3. Contact ground wire to Tc...AB...Tc...AB for one second each. One second is longer than I thought, so use a watch to get the timing.
4. Contact and hold Tc to ground. The airbag light finally changed to rapid flickering and then went out.
5. Celebrate!
Good luck
