I think the 245x45x17s are a near perfect match circumference wise to the stock 225x55x16. I have 235x45x17s on mine now and get no rubbing anywhere.

I have 235/45/17 tires up front and 255/40/17s in the rear.

I don't know. I kept on hearing this clicking noise that goes "click click" from time to time coming from my front wheels. My mechanic told me that it's rubbing against the brake calipers.

I have standard brake setup.
