Default New outer picts of my SC from the norcal meet

Here's some new picts of my car taken during the Norcal Meet
There's picts of other cars and members that I posted in the Norcal member forum..check

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...396#post827396

Check them out!

Car..in the dyno shop. The fogs, sidemarkers, highbeams, and headlights are all painted black/smoked out. Giving a more aggressive look

Above are daytime picts

Here's a picture of the enginebay above with injen intake, and a weapon-r filter
(if you look closely you can see the spiderweb of wires/connectors on my battery cuz of all the accessories)

Here's the SC on the dyno with my new 6000K Bimmer 5 series E39 HID retrofits and new LED board amber fogs!

And here is my DYNO SHEET!!!
204.9 RWP and 228lbs of TQ!!!!! I guess the mods do work a little bit.

It was a pretty big *MINI*meet. We had 53 attendees on the roster, 14 SCs showed up throughout the day, I saw 4-5 5-speed SC300s, including 97SC's rare silver on black 97 SC300 5-speed (which he got a steal on!), and of course BoostAdict's SC300-GTE 6-spd, and Meader's SC490. A black on black widebody AB Flug Supra TT BPU+++++ with 11-inch-wide front rims was supposed to show, but the owner's kid didn't want to ride in that "noisy car" so he just rolled up in his SC430 on dubs. Here are some of my pics:

Oh yeah, more pics here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=112066

We will have several dyno videos of the SC490 and the SC300TT screaming out at WOT in 4th gear as soon as our trusty video editors have the time. Patience...

As Lex400sc posted in here..there are way more pictures to check out in the Norcal forum folder because there were a lot of nice cars. It was quite fun. Hope we have a big one soon.

Default Thanks

Thanks NY Supraman. I was surprised by the results too....
Also Vegas...

I dyno'ed my car and I netted only about 5 more hp than SCanthony's car who had an intake/exhaust combo as well! hehe. So I guess the ECU only gave me about 5rwhp...hehe

Huh? I never actually dyno'd mine but I could tell the difference right away when I took it out. The only dyno results I saw were Madmax and I think he netted like 20+ whp. I don't know what to tell ya.

Did you ever get a baseline before the install? That would probably be the only way to get an accurate reading of what you gained.

BoostAdict pretty much dropped everything from his totalled Supra TT into this SC300. Worked out pretty well I must say...

Jim Meader's engine bay look pretty stock, right? This thing was so spotless you could eat off it...

Tex headers, full mandrel true-dual exhaust...

Some custom interiors...

You guys will all cry when you hear that this '97 SC300 5-speed silver on black was bought for $14k with rims, dvd, and full audio system already installed (the sound system sounded damn good too). I did .

(at right)

Default Vegas

Not sure about the dyno....I guess a lot of diff things have to be factored in.
My car was running all day from driving back and forth around the bay area. That could be a factor.
Also maybe some of the parts aren't working as well.

Anthony had a cold air box..he made and I had just an intake. COULD be a factor.
COULD BE that my car is freakin OLD...heheh cuz it is....=)

Bruce Nomura (www.brucenomura.com) and I have been talking about THINGS for my car. Will keep you posted...=)

sexy,

although even if the kit was CF, it still needs to be painted.
