i wanna reset the ecu on my sc400, and i've read some stuff about why you should do it, but no one says exactly how... do i just pull the fuse? does it have to sit for a while? to i have to actually detach the positive terminal from the battery? thanks in advance.

Pull your battery overnight should do it. Welcome to the club. The search function should help even more.

All you gottta do is open up the fusebox under the bonnet, find the 30A fuse (ECU fuse) and pull it out for about 5 minutes or so.
