Question Where did you put your gauges in your turbo SC?

Boost gauge, AFR, sure doesn't seem like Lexus expected anyone to add a gauge or two into these cars. Where did you put them? Pictures a plus! Let's see your best!

I've been thinking about this as well. I currently have my boost gauge in the center cup holder

However, it's not the best location. Trying to drive and see peak boost while driving is, well, not that easy.
The glove box is nice, but again, not in the most condusive location. My fjo gauge will be going on top of the steering column, and I think the boost gauge will have to stay in the holder for now.

As for a gauge pod, I've looked all over, and haven't seen any, especially since we have the handle on the pillar. I'd like to see if anyone else has come across any pillar pods (tan preferrably ) I tried using a universal steering column pod, however, our column is too wide

Theres this guy out in Australia that makes a gauge pod to put on the pillar of the car, but since its Australia, its designed for the right handed side of the car, but maybe you can ask him if he can make it on the left side..........

heres the link.

Well, imho, I think yours looks the most like I would like in my SC. Like the ease of the line of site and asthetics trades offs. Yes, it is a major bummer you're unclear on where this came from. If it comes to you, please edit or add a post. Is there any chance that its a Supra MKIV pillar post. Some questions: Was it specific to the SC? Did you think you ordered it off the net or see it in a store?

How about getting a single (should fit) universal pod and paint it brown to match the interior:

Here are a few pics from my 97.

I modified (heat gun and trimmed) a Dual Pillar pod on my 92 and painted it to match. Unfortunately I can't find any pics.

Clint,

What material did you use to fabricate the glovebox panel?

Thanks.

Thanks for the pics Clint!! I'm probably going to end up doing something like your 97. I.m going to try and modify that steering column pod to fit my fjo gauge. The rest will have to go in the glove box.

CLint, Where can you pick up that ABS plastic???
