Has anyone attempted to put their gauges inside of the gauge cluster? I just got some tinted guages that cannot be seen until they turn on. I was thinking of trying to find a place inside of the cluster to put them. Good idea? bad idea?

Question

How about using the odometer display to double as a boost controller? I've been considering doing this lately, or using the clock display to also display realtime boost levels...whacha all think?

All I'm seeing are red X's...

I'd love to see some of these pics stick around a bit longer.

Supra Dr. - How about some night shots of yours? Details of how you fabbed it (materials and where to get them, etc.)? You've done EXACTLY what I'm aiming for. Any interest on fabbing one up for others?

3rd times a charm - pixel count poop. Too much coffee shakey pics.
The Stock SC dash needs some O. L. T. LOVE to match. Someday I'll have time.

I used 2 pieces of 1/8" plywood. The top was the "dash panel" & the bottom
was the mounting plate for the assembly. It's screwed into the tabs that
held the center dash duct.

Make another??!! Hell no, heard of enough tea in china? Not ENOUGH
alcohol in America. Corona & Stoli stocks went up that month. The
hardest part was getting the clear plexi to curve just right in the
old vent plate. PIA

I fabricated a custom panel in place of the ash tray, using a wood similar to the Lexus wood trim, turned out very nice:

Thanks for the pics Supra Dr. - that looks absolutely stunning. With an OLT white gauge conversion it would look factory to anyone unfamilliar with SC's. Love the Defi gauges, though I am partial to having a boost gauge that reads in PSI.

Where did you get the plexi-glass, and is there any particular method you used to "mold" it (i.e., heat gun and a baseball bat to shape it)?
