Unhappy How do you turn ON/OFF ECO mode?

My car: RX 350 - 2010

Hello guys,
I never really pay attention on this ECO thing until someone drove my car and this ECO green light is disappeared and also I tried to check with the toggle button and it saw the ECO mode is OFF but I cannot figure out how to turn it back on?

Can somebody help me to solve this problem? PLEASE!

Welcome to CL, khmerxero. Try pressing on the toggle switch. It should switch eco mode from off to on. Here is a thread with more information.

The ECO mode is simply an indicator showing when your driving style is most "economical". It doesn't change engine or transmission parameters. You can also monitor the ECO mode with the bar graph in the display window on the dash. I found the green ECO light annoying so I turned it off.

It does change engine parameters. That is how you get the best mileage using that mode over normal or sport.

I have a 2010 RX as well, I was not aware there was a toggle function for this.

I only noticed that when cruising below 85 the ECO light would be on. When accelerating with some force it goes off. It's basically tied in to how you drive, it seems?

There is no Eco/Normal/Sport mode on the RX350. That's only on the hybrid. For the non-hybrid version, it's just an "atta-boy" light to pat you on the back for being light on the gas pedal.

JDR is right. The 2010 RX 350 doesn't have the ability to switch into eco/ sport mode. The 450h does have eco mode in addition to the eco light which basically makes the gas pedal heavier when turned on. I remember early 350 members complaining about the eco light and wanting to turn it off. I'm not familiar with the toggle screens to know if it can in fact be done. The thread I linked above seems to indicate it's possible. .

It can be toggled on/off in my 2013. Thankfully.

Can you post a picture of the screen?

Here you go. To access it, you hold down the Page Menu button on the steering wheel, then arrow down to the Eco indicator.

Thanks. It's similar to what my '10 450h looks like except yours says indicator instead of mode.

...and on my 2013 RX450h, I just have a green ECO MODE when I turn it on . I must say though, it's so strange to me why Lexus has these sort of very minor differences in colors and wording between the RX350 and 450h. I guess it's good to sometimes be different and out of the ordinary.
