Default Recommended wheels for RX?

Just bought the wife a 2015 RX 350 F sport. Looking to purchase a set of wheels for her. I would like to up the wheel size and go with a wider tire with out making mods.
Any one out there have any recommendations for a size?
Happy wife = happy life.

nice buy personally i love the oem 19's. What does your wife think of the f sport's suspension? I was going to buy my wife a F but compared to the normal rx she hated the ride.
Hope you enjoy it!

I didn't give her the chance to drive the normal RX. Therefore she didn't have anything to compare to. 600 Kms on it and she hasn't complained yet. It is stiff. But I prefer it.

Sorry I'm not. They will be used as winter wheels.

Check out niche road wheels. I put niche targas on my f sport (the link is in a post above). I stuck with 19s but went wider with 19x8.5s. I like the styling of most of them, their load limits are suitable for the rx (anywhere from 1600-2000lbs per wheel), and even wider wheels weigh the same as the stock ones. Their 20s are either 8.5 or 9 inches wide. I know the the 8.5s fit fine but you would have to make sure 9inch diameter wheels aren't too big. And they have a 35mm offset, which is the same as OEM.

255/50/19 is the same diameter as stock and a bit wider and will easily fit those 8 inch or 8.5 inch wider wheels. I plan to get that size next time when I get new wheels.

on another note...if your wife ever starts to grow tired of how firm the suspension is, to the point where it's uncomfortable, you can also go to a taller tire (245/55r19) with a slightly lower speed rating (H instead of V). That's what I went with and the ride comfort has improved tremendously. Just throwing that out there. After two years, I was bothered by the rough ride, but my wife (who drove the car only intermittently) didn't have an issue with it. I was surprised at how much the tires played in ride quality.

Someone else with an F-Sport who grew tired of the rough ride replaced the rear shocks with the regular model shocks and claimed a big improvement in ride quality while maintaining most of the handling advantages. This is discussed in another thread. The rear shocks are inexpensive and not difficult to replace.
