Tail lights - 2010 or others?
Does anyone know if Lexus can make it so when the Daytime running lights are on that the tail lights come on? It appears MASS has just passed a law when it is raining and you have your windshield wipers on you have to have your lights on...I leave mine on Auto and have auto windshield wipers so kinda takes away the purpose if I have to turn my lights all the way on each time.
Thoughts anyone?

I'm not aware of anything standard to make that happen. It would have to be a mod of some sort. There is at least one member I've seen around here lately that seems to have confidence and doing electrical system tweaks to their vehicle, so perhaps they'll chime in.
BTW, are you sure you need only the tail lights on, or do you mean headlights and therefore associated rear lights too? Here in California, a more recent law says we must have our headlights on when the wipers are on, so using wipers on Auto here presents a similar challenge. Since I'm personally not into 'mod'ing my under-warranty vehicle, I just keep my wipers on Auto and manually move my headlights switch from Auto to ON when the wipers do a sweep and it's drizzling outside. Lights have to manually go back to Auto when it stops raining and I remember to do so. (FWIW, I submitted this as a suggestion to Lexus in my original 2013 new car purchase surveys -- hasn't shown up yet, but maybe in the 2016!)

No, I don't play soccer!
3894days, quite a few states have the wipers on, headlights on law including mine. It becomes second nature after a while. I just switch them on (two short clicks on the stalk from auto) and leave them there if it's going to be raining for a while, like the next four days around here And the headlights can be programmed to shut off after a certain amount of time so you don't have to worry about turning them off every time you leave the car and get back in while it's raining. Mine go off as soon as I open the door.

So, as advanced as RX450h is, mine will chime at me if I forget to turn the headlights off. It is really silly.

Interesting vlad. I can't understand why that feature was removed. I guess it's a matter of getting used to turning the headlights on and back to auto. It's become routine after a while. But there are occasions when I'll leave then in the on position.
