Used RX350 tips / advice other?
Owned a 93 LS400 for some great years before it started giving me fits that my mechanic couldn't solve. May have been the ECU but finally said goodbye to it a few years ago.
Now looking at RX350s. Around here (CO) 2012 models with ~30k miles run $36,000 or so and of course the price goes down as the miles go up, with options variances.
I'm looking hard at a meticulously maintained '12 with 54k miles. It's a lot of money for 54k miles, on the other hand I have full confidence if I continue to maintain it I can run another 150K miles.
Any advice? I'm thinking 18" wheels as the 19" wheels have a rougher ride and the roads here stink. In fact ride quality is one of my main reasons for the RX over the Pilot or MDX. I know how to inspect a used car pretty well and will get a CPO vehicle but if anyone has tips for RX-specific shoppers I'd much appreciate it.
