Default Outgoing caller ID problem

2013 RX 350. I've paired my wife's phone, transferred the contacts, etc... etc... When she receives a call, the caller ID shows who's calling however if its an outgoing call, just shows "Private Call." I've checked to see if the contacts are in there by clicking on Contacts, they're all there. I don't get it, I've searched the entire menu and have tried to figure it out but nothing is working.

Any suggestions?

Go into your outgoing phone settings and check that you haven't
hidden your caller ID.

I've checked at both my phone and my wife's have the Show Caller ID option on. So that X's that out as a possible issue. It'll show the name if I dial it from the onboard system, just not when I dial from the phone. Could it possible be a safety issue?

chiefnomad, have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the phone? It could be something as simple as that. If not, I'd suggest visiting your Lexus dealer. They have technology specialists who can address problems like yours. Also, check this site to confirm compatibility. Good luck. And for future reference, it would help if you could be more specific. Knowing what kind of phone you have helps.
