Oil Change and Pre-owned warranty
I am going to need an oil change before heading North. No Lexus dealer close by. Should I go to the local Toyota Dealer and get Toyota Synthetic oil and a Toyota filter or can I safely go to the local "jiffy lube", specify Mobile One 0-20 (that's what the Lexus Dealer put in it) and a quality filter and not endanger my Pre-Own Warranty.

I went to Toyota for my 10K oil change. Very happy with their service. I was treated with respect, and left with peace of mind. They use the same parts/oil as Lexus.
Jiffy Lube service will not affect your warranty, but I'm not a big fan of Jiffy Lube. They upsell and we lost an oil pan to an over-zealous drain plug installer years ago on a Honda. Once bitten, twice shy.
BTW, my oil change and 25-point check, including brake check, came to $63 total because I had the tires rotated, balanced and dressed for free at America's Tire. (their tires six months ago)
Hope this helps.

Make sure Jiffy has Mobil 1 oil. I also would not trust them to actually change the canister oil filter. You may be better off at a Mobil Gas Station that does service if no Toyota dealer nearby. The quality of work would probably be higher than Jiffy Lube.

I stay away from quick-oil-change places. Too many cars have fallen victim to unqualified personnel that works in such joints.
As already stated, go to the Toyota dealer. No free coffee, but half the price. I stick to DIY approach, but that's just me.

I have a trusted mechanic and let him do all my work. I document everything and only use the dealer on warranty issues. Been doing this since the 60's and never had a problem with warranty work on any vehicle. I usually depending on the work a dealer does have the work inspected by my guy. Over the years and many makes of cars and trucks there were a few occasions where the dealers work was done not up to standards and I made them at times correct it. BTW This was my first Lexus and he said " I won't be seeing you as much anymore".
