Default DVD Premium Audio for Navigation

There is a N/C line item on my 2015 vehicle sticker called "DVD Premium Audio for Navigation" Can anyone describe what this is to me. I do not have the DVD option with the video screens in the head rests. What I do know, is that the sound from the stereo seems much better than on my 2012.

Try this. Turn on your RX, engage the foot brake, and ensure it's in Park. Insert a DVD - you should be able to watch a movie on your front 8" screen.

Wow! You sure could burn a lot of gas, watching a 2 hour movie!

If you try it, just be careful to ensure you power (engine on) the car or you can drain the battery. (I speak from experience - after only about 20-25 mins battery drained).

There is something called a beatsonic device that once hooked up will allow you to first use all the functions that are blocked when vehicle is in motion and second watch a movie while car is in motion.

That will be difficult to accomplish. 2013+ RXs turn everything off after a preset amount of time. ACC turns off every 20 minutes. Great feature when you have a wife and kids using the car.

Not so great if you want to listen to music while trying to work on it in the garage.

I wish that were the case with my '13. I had left the rear hatch and doors open while working on the car in my garage a full day into the next and it didn't start after that Had to boost the battery.

My CT, I had the sound system on for about 30 mins and battery drained.
