2014 Strange Noise?
So, Last week I walk out into my garage and my 6000 mile Rx is making a noise. Vehicle was off and both fobs were out of range. It sounded like a small 12 volt air compressor running or an electric fuel pump. Same thing happened just now. I crawled under it to see if maybe the noise was coming from the fuel tank. I couldn't really tell though. The way to stop it was to turn on the accessory and then turn it off. It is very similar to the sound my old Caddy makes when the level ride engages.
This would be impossible to duplicate for a dealer tech unless he is aware of some kind of bulletin. It is under warranty so, hopefully I can find the culprit. I obviously don't want it to run continuously and have a drained battery.
Anyone else experience this with their RX??

Thanks! This is a new one for me, glad it is something normal. Still trudging through the Lexus bible. Technology is definitely passing me by. I feel as if you need to be an IT specialist to learn new cars today.

This happens to everyone. Even though all our recent cars make the same noise, my wife called me to come to the garage urgently the other week because my new STi was making a strange noise. I had to explain that all modern cars do this for emission purposes.

In many ways your car is almost human. It's passing bad gasses . Really
