We didn't get the Crafted Line, but my wife did get an Ultra White F-Sport w/cabernet interior so it's close.. We love it..

bradhop15, you're probably one of the first to get the Crafted Line RX. I had a chance to check it out at the dealer last Friday while I was getting the 450h serviced.. It looks much better in person than pictures can show. And the matching cabernet edging on the carpeted floor and cargo mats is a nice touch. Congrats and enjoy yours.

I received a multi page brochure on the Crafted line from Lexus yesterday. The photos showed a bright red interior trim called scarlet on the LS and more cranberry look called cabernet on the RX. I'm not a fan of dark graphite wheels though and the black side mirrors and handles don't work for me. I'm due for an oil change soon so I'll have to check it out.and hopefully the new NX will out. They didn't list the NX in the crafted line.

JT4, the mats will look great in your F-Sport. Hope it isn't hard to get them.

I think he is, in this forum!

Congrats bradhop15. If the F-Sport RX is a rare breed on its own, you got a collector's with the Crafted Line series.

Just picked up a Crafted Line RX as well. I just don't get black mirrors and door handles. Other than that, the car is great. I remember when cars came with black door handles, mirrors, or bumper trim they were consider base models. Totally stripped down vehicles. Now Lexus has made that an exclusive and limited edition. Go figure.

Your right, I remember that now. It's probably why I don't like the basic black handles and mirrors. It was cheaper not to have to color coordinate them with the car or else you paid extra, Some cars have as an extra chromed handles and mirrors now.

The black door handles and side view mirrors contrast nicely against the ultra white paint. And they are painted, not plastic. I'd recommend seeing it in person.

Anita you are correct, it does look better in person. That's why its in the driveway. However, to me its just the image attached to it of the old base model cars compared to higher line. See the attached images.

I thought the same thing about the black handles and mirrors before I saw it in person, but once I took a look at it I loved the gloss black finish. Also the interior in the brochure looked like too bright of a red, but in person it was perfect. Loving it so far. Just now got back from a road trip for Thanksgiving. Already have 1600 miles on it.

Glad to hear, bradhop. I don't think pictures do the Crafted Line RX justice. It's definitely not for everyone but some will be pleasantly surprised.
