I tried on the internet from Lexus home page to various auto sites. No mention at all. Surprising!

Could anyone here give me answer? I saw a lot of complaints about the liftgate height, but no number.

My 2014 AWD F Sport measures 6 foot 10 inches as shown.

You need to get on a step stool, like I did.

The gate has a five inch outward bow in the middle.
It is 6 foot 10 inches at the lip but the handle will go crunch at around 7 foot 2 inches.

Thanks for the replies. I realized there was a typo in the subject title. Sorry for that. I am glad that the question was crossed and answered.

The pulling rail in my garage is about 89 in high, giving the garage door only a 82-in clearance. I should not open the liftgate when the garage door is open.

Welcome to CL, John. I fixed the typo for you.

Just so you know, there is a way to disable the power tailgate. In the glove box is a button to turn it off. Unfortunately we've seen a few accidents

As a side note, with the car pulled into the garage and the garage door closed, i measured 18" from the bumper to the door.

Raising the RX hatch cleared the closed garage door by 8".

Thanks, Kitlz, for correcting the typo.
I hope Lexus could include the info above in its manual. Some other makers have drawings to show those. That could have saved some accidents.
