Hello All,
I Have 2010 RX450H, had it for 7 years and no issues until recently. I have ABS issue, getting 1391 code " Accumulator Leaking". I spent $900 on a new accumulator (47070-48050) and got it installed at the local mechanic. All the fault codes disappeared after I reconnected the system but unfortunately after driving it for 50-80 miles issue is back.
- Does that mean my accumulator was OK, the issue is with Actuator?
- Does Accumulator needs to be reprogramed after installation?
- Does Actuator needs programming after installation?
- Does Lexus have an extended warranty on Actuator? How to approach Lexus if this warranty exists?

any Help would be appreciated.

Was the initialization and calibration of the Linear Solenoid Valve performed after the actuator was replaced?

Just re-read your post.
Accumulator was replaced and not the actuator.

You might have a bad actuator if no brake fluid leaks are detected.

Thanks for your reply, Yes I only replaced the Accumulator. Seems like I have to replace the actuator as well, If I do it myself does it requires any kind of recalibration or reprogramming and do I need a Toyota diagnostic tool?

Yes, you will need to initialize it and calibrate it.

Diagnostic tool is needed but you can also do this by jumping terminals at the DLC3 connector.
There are special steps to perform this so i'd get some info before tackling this yourself.

Make sure of the problem first before replacing parts thats not needed.

OK, I already have replaced the accumulator, so only other part to replace is Actuator, am I correct? or is there something else that could be a problem.
I have Brake, VSC, ABS lights ON with "Brake Malfunction" error and 1391 code.

These two parts are pretty much always recommended by the dealer to be replaced together, I think simply because its very hard to tell which is at fault when there is an issue.
