Hi - I have the parking assist option but it seems rather lame as it only works on the rear. The front is not even an option.I asked the Lexus service guys but they were allover the place regarding some had only rear and some both. Does anyone know if the 2010's are supposed to have both rear and front or just the rear? Can that be upgraded. I would like to have them up front as well as it is hard to see the nose of the vehicle and judge the distance from an object in front.

Mine only has rear park assist... but i'd love to hear as well if the front can be upgraded to have park assist

My 2010 RX450h has two in the front (more to the sides then center) but several in the rear. In the later years more have been added to the front. I've often thought it somewhat odd as the rear also has the backup camera that I use more than the sensors.

My 2010 RX350 has sensors in the front and rear. I've never seen one that only had them on the rear bumper.

sewell parts have both front bumper replacements with or without front parking sonar sensors.

I just picked up a 2010 this weekend but it has them on the front near the corners.

My 2011 HS250 that I just bought used (I also have a 2010 RX350) came with dealer installed front and rear parking sensors. They are not integrated with the software. The only operation is an on off button. They turn on automatically when the car is started and beep non stop until you turn them off as you drive away. More of a PITA than a benefit. Even after turning them off, while in reverse I think they are still working as there are extra beeps in addition to the stupid back up beep beep beep (which I need to have the dealer change).
I think about getting them disconnected.
